‘Path To the Twin Flames’ tells
the story of the emotive journey of a soul seeking its soulmate. The path can scar but cannot break a true heart.
A legend that dates to the Greeks holds that when a soul is created, sometimes the soul splits. Each separated soul is then thrust on a journey to find its twin, its true soul mate.
The Twin Flames Heart at the upper right signifies the goal, with its polished surface crisp with bright swirls of vibrant colors. The re-united Flames (the souls) intertwine but not merge, as each retains its own history learned in the journey along the way. The future though, is together!
Each of the other eight Hearts is a vignette of that journey. Each Heart is still shiny and some have bits of blue sea glass that mirror hues in the Twin Flame. But the Heart is gray. Sometimes the Heart is dancing. Sometimes the Heart is stoic and straight. Yet each Heart is also chipped or gouged, often deeply, by the experience.
That experience along life’s journey builds the confidence to find its mate. It is the Journey to that one soul mate who knows your authentic self and can truly form the Twin Flame that sustains.

The ‘Handle With Care’ series is Heart Art’s original work, started in the 1980’s. The ‘Handle With Care’ pieces are also known as ‘Sent With Love’ by Heart Art’s earliest collectors from our gallery on 18th Street. The broad selection have become classics, and have often been the first piece in a collection.
The symbolism of the art work is warming — as each Heart goes on life’s journey of learning, the Heart needs to be bundled carefully and purposefully to arrive at its station in life damage free.
Each Heart is wrapped with imported parchment paper and then secured with a string. The Heart is marked FRAGILE and HANDLE WITH CARE, and launched with a genuine U.S. Postal Service LOVE stamp (all are different).
The content of this package is truly special. As every Heart is!
